Kai qualified from Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2020 with a BSc in veterinary nursing . She is currently working in a referral practice , Swift Referrals . Kai has an interest in dental care and obesity management in dogs and wants to encourage the development of nurse-led clinics . Kai has already been awarded runner-up in the Veterinary Nurse of the Year Award – Northern Ireland 2021 . She aims to encourage others to voice their opinions in order to make positive changes in the veterinary field .
