Welcome to the June issue of VNJ. It might be summer, but it ' s never too early to look forward to BVNA Congress in October. We ' re fast approaching the 31 July early bird ticket deadline, so be sure to register soon to get the best ticket prices.
You can read the full 2026 scientific programme from page 8, and you can also find it on the BVNA website at https:// bvna. org. uk / wp-content / uploads / 2026 / 02 / Congress-Scientific-Programme-2026. pdf. There is something for everyone at our packed 3-day event. We have streams for the general practitioner, referral nurse, advanced nurses, students and VCAs.
A particular highlight of Congress is the annual awards evening and dinner dance on the Friday night, which is a chance to dress up in formalwear or fancy dress. This year, the theme is a winter wonderland ball. We hope to see you there!
If you have a project you ' ve completed in practice, an interesting case study or a dissertation you ' re proud of, consider entering this year ' s VNJ Live event at BVNA Congress. Alternatively, if you have an idea for a project or clinical audit you may want to complete in the future, email us and we can support you through the process, or visit the VNJ Live sessions at Congress and chat to one of the team.
