Gastro-intestinal disease is a common cause for concern in clinical practice . The clinical signs can range from acute and dramatic presentations through to chronic , lower grade clinical signs . There is a wide variety of underlying conditions that can affect the gastro-intestinal tract and differentiating these is not always straightforward . With a logical and ordered approach though , a satisfying outcome is possible in many cases . In this course , we will discuss the clinical approach to gastro-intestinal disease in both cats and dogs and how best to manage the various underlying conditions .
