Nicky Ackerley
Nicky completed a business studies degree and CIPD qualifications before embarking on her career in human resources ( HR ). In 1999 , she established HR Support Consultancy , and she has worked with BMAS since 2006 . Nicky and her team are passionate about animals and wildlife . Nicky is particularly interested in gundogs and gundog field trials and shows , which she judges . She is also a director of The Kennel Club .
Judy Turton
Judy has a degree in psychology and a background in project management , delivery and administration . She recently joined the BMAS team and is enjoying her new career alongside raising her two young children . Judy loves animals and particularly enjoys exploring with her working cocker spaniel .
Jo Johnston
Jo was awarded her CIPD qualification after studying part-time , alongside working and raising her family . She has had a number of HR roles and has always enjoyed working with a variety of people in different environments . When she ' s not working , Jo spends time with her family and walks on Dartmoor with her dogs . Jo writes the employment articles for VNJ and , like the rest of the team , enjoys helping BVNA members via BMAS .

Helen Moyse
Peter has worked for HR Support Consultancy since 2019 and has a variety of clients in different business sectors . When he ' s not working , he enjoys sailing , pub quizzes and spending time with his cocker spaniel .
Helen has worked for HR Support Consultancy since 2000 , covering a wide variety of business sectors . She is a farmer ' s wife and helps her husband run their farm . Helen also has horses and several dogs to keep her busy .
